Having completed her B.S. in Biological Sciences, she truly believes that healing involves the body, mind, and soul, and that they are all interconnected. Thus, how you dress has the power to influence your career, relationships, life goals, and confidence. Radiating your unique style strengthens you in ways you could not have imagined. She has been trained by Carla Mathis at Body Beautiful, Mimi Dorsey and Alyce Parsons with Universal Style, and Brenda Kinsel. She is also a Style Advisor for a Men’s Clothier called J. Hilburn.

ILLUMINART SERVICES

Personal Style Assessment

(Approximately 2- 3 hrs. for an individual consultation)
This session is the cornerstone to building a life that has been transformed through personal style. In our time together, we will discover your style ‘recipe’. Pinpointing your authentic and unique style will not only allow me to put your shopping dollars to the best use, but will also clarify to us both who you are and who you want to be—lifestyle and life goals. The first part of this session will be focused on learning more about you and what are your style words. Then I want to go straight to your closet to put together that ‘look’ using that style recipe. Having a clear understanding of what stage you are at on your journey of style, I will be better able to guide you on your next steps.

Level I Color, Fit, and Style Consultation

(Approximately 1-1.5 hrs. for an individual consultation; group sessions available)
Step One: Color Analysis
A color consultation is a fun way to learn about the best colors for you. You’ll learn what are the “wow” colors to have in your wardrobe, the colors that will support your skin and hair tones and make it easy to build a complete wardrobe easily. You will receive a 54 color palette with colors that are seen in your hair, skin and eyes along with a series of red tones that are right for you.
Step Two: Style and Fit Analysis
All body shapes can be beautiful and the key to dressing well is to understand your body. A style and fit consultation will teach you how to wear clothes to flatter your unique body shape – from head to toe. You will receive a 7-page customized Body Signature Guide complete with definitions, tools and how-to so you can make successful wardrobe choices.

Professional Closet Audit

(Approximately 2-3 hrs.)
Do you have a lot of clothes but nothing to wear? A wardrobe assessment is the ultimate tool to unraveling an unruly closet. We will go through your closet and sort out the ‘wearables’, ‘questionables’, and the ‘unbearables’. Your clothes will then be reorganized to achieve stressless dressing everyday. This session will identify the gaps in your wardrobe whilst weeding out unsuitable items. This step is most effective when followed by personal shopping sessions to fill in the missing gaps in your wardrobe.

Personal Shopping

(Typically 3 hrs. sessions)
Navigating a shopping mall alone can be a scary thing! Sometimes it’s best to send in a professional! Let me help you shop with success. We’ll zero in on the best stores for your lifestyle and budget and shop with a specific purpose in mind. You’ll be amazed at how much easier shopping can be when you have guidelines for shape, style and color to follow.

Closet Shopping/Creating Outfits

(Approximately 2 to 3 hrs. in home session)
Do you wear the same outfits all the time with little variation? Are you starting a new chapter in your life and just need to renovate your wardrobe and outfits? Or maybe you just want to find more outfits with the use of the clothes your already have. In this session, we will discover new outfit possibilities and build a timeless collection of outfits that is amazingly suited for you. In addition, you will receive a personalized lookbook of all the outfits created in this session for future reference.

(Fittings are 15-30 minutes)

BIOGRAPHY

My name is Christine Le and I am a style and image consultant based in Southern California. To tell you a little about myself…I’ve always been fascinated with the art of style and fashion. Not only the creation of style art but of bringing light and joy to people through the medium of style art. Thus the name “illuminART style”. Even as an elementary school child, I ‘decorated’ my younger cousins (the only ones I could effectively ‘lord’ my pecking order as coercion) with my mother’s cosmetics, dressed them in clothes from my closet, their closet, my mom’s closet, or sometimes tablecloths (if I happened to like that particular print). After which, I then had them pose for pictures. (When I find them…I’ll post them.) They were quite good, actually.

As I grew up, I decided to go into medicine. I even studied and graduated with a Bachelors of Science, Biological Sciences. All the while, I sought the ‘Art’. Surrounded with medical terminology, numbers, equations, procedures, blood…I emphasized and focused on the creativity of medicine. My medical passion was for the art of reconstructive surgery–healing people physically and spiritually. It wasn’t just about putting Humpty Dumpty together again…but beyond that. I saw the healing of the mind and confidence through the healing of the body. Bringing beauty to a person is both physical and mental–they are connected.

After graduating…I acknowledged my passion for fashion and style. My experience as a stylist for Club Monaco gave me the ability to train my eye in styling and bringing out the best expression of clothing and accessories for all types and ages. Within a month of my hired date, I was honored as their top stylist for that location and in the following month was positioned as the second top stylist among the Western Region locations (second only to a veteran stylist).

I’ve studied with the Certified Image Master, Carla Mathis at the Body Beautiful Institute, where I was able to hone my skills and talents even more, put words to image consulting, learn the science behind the aesthetics, and gained the confidence to express my styling knowledge, advice and gifts with other men and women.

In addition, I continued my learning with the Universal Style System developed by Alyce Parsons. Through Universal Style, I am able to offer my clients a clearer understanding of the style that best suits their lifestyle and life goals.

Currently, I have the wonderful opportunity to advance my skills, learning from Brenda Kinsel–bestselling author who has appeared nationally on radio and television, most notably on The Oprah Winfrey Show and on NPR. She also makes a weekly appearance on the ABC Radio Network, syndicated nationally, on a segment called the Weekly Wardrobe Workshop.

For the men out there, I recently partnered up with J. Hilburn to provide men custom-made shirts out of the same fantastic fabrics as those high-end luxury brands BUT with a drastic cut in pricing…and did I mention that they are custom-made? Not off the rack and made for millions, but only for You. I help you design a shirt that is uniquely you. How amazing is that?
